Steven Shebar – Chief Instructor
A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer
Sports Performance Specialist

Mr. Steven Shebar began his training in Tae Kwon Do, in Long Island, New York, in 1983, when he was 18 years old.  He studied with Grandmaster Y.H. Park, who became the United States Olympic Tae Kwon Do Team Coach in 1988 and 1992.  Mr. Shebar achieved his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1987 and became Grandmaster Park’s Head Instructor and School Manager in 1988.  His responsibilities included:  curriculum development, management and instructor training. During those years, Mr. Shebar also trained in Tai Chi and Aikido to round out his abilities and achieved black belt levels in both arts. To help further his skills and knowledge of the human body, he became a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.), specializing in Sports Performance and Sports Rehabilitation, in 1988
Wanting to expand his horizons, Mr. Shebar blew into Florida, right along with Hurricane Andrew, in 1992.  He literally arrived 1 day ahead of the storm.  After settling in for a few years and establishing his Personal Training business, Mr. Shebar began to study Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu and practiced for several years, until a shoulder injury sidelined him for awhile.
Mr. Shebar decided to set a goal of opening his own martial art school and having a recognized world instructor rank, he joined the American Tae Kwon Do Association in 2001.  Mr. Shebar achieved his instructor rank in October, 2006 and opened his first school in June, 2007
